CAPE TOWN
The flat sandy scene of Cape Town is an experience on its own, as the
wind whistle blows, you can only imagine what the place has for you.
I’m no city dweller, I love the open nature and seeing things for what
they really are, and I can tell you, Cape Town is a beautiful
place.
The beaut is an incredible coastal city packed with breathtaking
mountains and beaches to the beast streets that are full of cars,
culture and life. It definitely has many things you would want to
explore. I recently moved to Cape Town a few weeks before the
Coronavirus pandemic surfaced on our shores, 2020 has been a difficult
year for all of us. Get to know some of the places I enjoyed seeing
maybe it will help you plan your next trip or even a move. Let’s dive
into it!
Table Mountain 🏔
The mountain looks far off isn’t? Well you’ll find hikers climbing up
the mountain to see the majestic view of the city(No worries a cable
car is available too). The clouds cover the mountain peaks and to tell
you in one word “iconic“. Watching the sunset as the city lights up is
rewarding.
Clifton Beaches 🏖
Locals have referred to the beaches as the best in South Africa(who
would argue with that?). Clifton is one of the most propertied suburbs
and it is filled with prosperous individuals. The soft white sand sets
for an easy chill on the shorelines and blue wavy waters are a
paradise for surfers. Remember: on a normal day it is packed, it can
be hard to find a parking spot. Keep your car safe and clean.
Kirstenbosch Gardens 🍃
Save your time for a walk in one of the best botanical gardens in the
world, covering 1,300 acres of land you can walk the whole day on the
Canopy Walkway. The colorful views bring life and the trees make for a
breath of fresh air. The songs sung by the birds free up the mind,
with a dedicated area for the rainbow flower(protea).
Cape Winelands 🍇
I can’t really say which town between Paarl, Stellenbosch, Worcester
and Wellington ferments the best wine nevertheless you will find
numerous wine farms or estates as they called. Along the road(R44 -
road name), there’s plenty of vineyards to see(I personally loved the
scenery and the wine from L’avenir Wine Estate). If you up for free
wine, don’t forget to book for wine tasting tours.
Long Street 🌃
To end the day, going out with friends and family to the street that
never sleeps is a great conclusion. Listening to good music and
sentimental vibes, meeting fantastic individuals from diverse cultures
sets the mood and a glass of beer on hand from the best breweries
lasts the night. FYI: Stay on the lookout for traditional African
artifacts, one of a kind!
I am yet to experience all of the places Cape Town holds and I’m sure
it will be an amazing experience. Please don’t forget to subscribe to
stay updated on our product launch which will be in Cape Town. Thank
you!
